"This thesis examines the historical, cultural, and economic presence of the Blackfeet Nation in Browning, Montana and the current issues children face within the reservation. The primary focus was creating a school that would promote cultural growth and education in a community and demographic that has suffered from years of educational abuse. With the integration of several Blackfeet influences, this elementary school serves as a foundation for Blackfeet studies that will submerge the children and families in an environment that will cultivate positive changes in the way traditional education is viewed."
