"From the moment a baby girl is born in the South, rules are placed upon her. Southern Gentility, an original work, is about what happens when a mother who clings to the rules decides to take over the love life of her daughter who rebels against the same rules. With this thesis project, I sought to give audiences a look into the Southern culture and the relationship between mothers and daughters in the South."
