Ethiopia is an African nation that is facing many environmental disasters due to its overpopulation growth and unsustainable economic development. The expansion of agriculture and urban sprawl has major impacts on deforestation and destruction of many unique eco-habitats. In turn, this has long term negative impact on the macro and micro-weather climate of Ethiopia. Due to this climatic changes in Ethiopia, the country is unable to sustain its food production using traditional large scale agriculture system. Ethiopia is unable to produce sufficient food and many of its citizens and is currently facing poverty. famine and lacks of natural resources. These problems are getting worse as the population continues to grow. There is a need to develop, education and promote a new agriculture system such as "Hydroponic" Farming to sustain the population of Ethiopia and the African Continent.
