Abstract: |
This thesis is a work of fiction told from the viewpoint of a white, female narrator whose circumstances lead her to a group of black women in a court ordered domestic violence program. They grow, learn, and change as societal pressures, stereotypes, and racial lines are broken down. It is a story about relating against all cultural odds, and finding a way to make it work, together. |
