This thesis focuses on the portrayal of male and female characters in different animated films. Another aim is to observe and annotate their behavior in the context of a love relationship, whether succeeding or failing to define common elements often used. Using the findings of the study, stereotypes for each gender were defined to better understand the visual representation of genders in animation.
