Abstract: |
Propaganda should be presented in visual formats to achieve its purpose. Visual formats such as posters, pamphlets, and films are used often because visual formats convey information quickly and evoke deep emotions rather than a rational response in their audiences. Triumph of the Will is a documentary film made in 1934. The director, Leni Riefenstahl, filmed Adolf Hitler’s route when he visited Nuremberg to attend the national convention of the Nazi Party. She used certain techniques such as montage, close-ups, low angles, and mob shot to inculcate Hitler’s strong and generous leadership to the German people. These techniques can be applied to motion graphics projects that need propaganda. |
