Bluth, Don--1937 -

Dirk must enter the evil wizard, Mordroc's, castle to rescue Princess Daphne from Singe the Dragon. While many characters and locations from the 1983 version are appear in the game, there are new rooms, puzzles, and enemies, also. Bluth produced new animated sequences for the opening and ending of the game. The game uses cel shading to recreate the hand-drawn style of the original game.
The Dragon, Singe, picks up and examines the carriage containing Princess Daphne in the opening scene of Dragon's Lair 3D.
Animation drawings of Singe the Dragon, presented as an MOV animated clip and also as a PDF of individual drawings.
