The building, located on Broughton Street, at 10 floors, was considered to be an early Georgia skyscraper. The neoclassical building with an uncommon corner entrance had a rusticated ground floor and a decorative stone capital. Designed by Hyman W. Witcover and built around 1906, the building also housed the Liberty Bank and Trust. It was torn down in 1975. |
