Portrait of an unidentified smiling women wearing a high necked dark blouse. Her hairstyle includes an high bun with bangs. The smaller sleeve on her dress probably dates this image to around 1890. Photograph by Launey and Goebel, Savannah Ga. Back is blank.

Photographers are Launey & Goebel. They advertised themselves as successors to 0. P. Havens. Their association was from approximately 1887-1894. By 1899, Launey still is working in Savannah as a photographer, but Goebel is not listed as a photographer. Goebel worked on his own as a photographer in Savannah until at least 1896.
