Abstract: |
This thesis is a response to the search for a connection between the physical world and the one unseen. The work also highlights the empty pursuit of a human’s need to try and control both worlds. Combining the use of large format film with current day printing methods, A Thin Space narrates both a historical journey of process and self-reflection. By using portraiture and landscape imagery, the duality in the themes are also propelled by the coupling of old and new in the creative process. |
