Banjo the Woodpile Cat is the story about a kitten who wanders away from home. It was based in part on life on the Bluth's farm in Utah. The family actually had a cat living in a woodpile near the house. One day, they noticed that the cat was gone, but after several weeks, it came home and stayed. Bluth and his brothers, intrigued about what might have happened to him during his time away, made up a story about his adventures in the big city. The story had a positive family message about running away to "find the good times", only to find that the "best times" are at home with the love of your family.

Banjo happily splashes through a water puddle. This shows the animation of the water splashing from the puddle.
