Life magazine covers were on a variety of topics. Each issue had a theme that was introduced by the cover and reflected throughout the issue. This issue was titles "Your Best Girl Number." The artist's signature has not been deciphered, but the cartoon takes the theme of futuristic travel by air and points out some practicalities of such an endeavor. This half page cartoon had a theme of aviation and travel by air which was popular in Life cartoons. |
