Abstract: |
"This thesis proposes the creation of a socially responsible theme park based on the television series 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer.' The paper will present research on the topics of representation, theme parks, and corporate social responsibility to demonstrate the need for diverse IPs and a new perspective on corporate social responsibility. The paper will then move into concept design and illustrated renderings for the proposed Buffy land. The overall purpose of this thesis is to demonstrate how and why representation matters in theme parks and to provide an example of a socially responsible theme park environment."
