"This thesis examines characteristics of my thesis exhibition titled 3:33, which explores the psychology behind compulsive behaviors, societies impact in these tendencies, in addition to examining conceptual artists working in the realm of cybernetic art, performance art, chance operations, and systems art. Influenced by these movements my work focuses on my obsessive tendencies, and the altered perceptions developed through repetition. The formal aesthetics examined are based on the creation of a formula to drive the result. The works discussed involve 33 pieces in each grouping of video work, paused imagery, and 3 rounds of screen-printing. Each section of the process is designed to lead to further departure. Through examining the nature of my obsessive tendencies, my body of work leads from subjectivity to increased objectivity."
