Abstract: |
A Taiwanese hospice model provides a harmonious environment which supports the Taiwanese cultural and religious traditions as they relate to death and the grieving process. By offering a supportive hospice environment rather than care in a sterile hospital room, the hospice model will initiate a cultural change by enticing the Taiwanese people to more openly embrace hospice environments. |
