Cabinet card photograph, quite faded, of a women in a striped blouse with ribbon trim. The photograph is attributed to Goebel Studio of Savannah GA. Affixed to the back is a notice of the Burial of Mrs. John Driscoll, but no date is included. The notice said she was the former Mary Cash, and she died following the death of her infant son. The book, Savannah's Catholic Cemetery Chatham County Georgia, Volume 1, published by the Catholic Diocese in 2005, lists a Mary Driscoll and an infant buried in Old Section M in 1896. Goebel was at one time associated with Launey. Launey and Goebel advertised themselves as successors to 0. P. Havens. Their association was from approximately 1887-1894. |
