"This thesis is aimed to challenge design conventions while elevating the importance of multi-discipline curiosity, research, and experimentation by investigating artistic methods used in Contemporary Art. Insight gathered from various artist’s, specific works, and methodology will be used to educate and inspire furniture making and design. This thesis will implement three processes used in contemporary art, ethics, and information, documenting individual narratives, and the elevation of ‘low’ materials and forms. To share present artistic methods that are beneficial to the design process today."
