Abstract: |
"Cancer is a disease that affects more than 18 million people globally. New cases are found every day, and people need a way to fight this disease. The cancer care part of the medical world has made great strides as of recent years in terms of treating cancer. However, as it stands now, people receive treatments at hospitals and then go to separate facilities to begin their road of healing. In today's society, patients need a more conducive plan for them to heal properly. By utilizing nature in the healing proves, there is the potential that healing the mind, body, and spirit of cancer patients can improve. The intent for this thesis is to focus on the creation of cancer rehabilitation centers that not only focus on outpatient care, but the treatment of cancer as well." --Abstract
