Portrait of a young man wearing a large four in hand knotted tie and suit. The man has dark slicked back hair and wears an intense expression. The photograph is by Launey and Goebel, 141 & 143 Broughton St. Savannah. The back is printed with logo and address. Photographers are Launey & Goebel. They advertised themselves as successors to 0. P. Havens. Their association was from approximately 1887-1894. By 1899, Launey still is working in Savannah as a photographer, but Goebel is not listed as a photographer. Goebel worked on his own as a photographer in Savannah until at least 1896. |
