Abstract: |
The primary aim of the study was to determine whether the cottage workers had the skills set to sew the garments I designed for the US market. My focus was the village women in the cottage industry in the Thyolo, Mulanje and Balaka districts near Blantyre, Malawi, Africa. This study was part of my graduate capstone project at the Savannah College of Art and Design. |
