This thesis presents the visualization of Xiaozi culture through research of its visual presentation, based on the understanding of its historical, economic, and social causes. It introduces hybridity, complexity and diversity of the specific culture existing in recent post-socialist China. This thesis analyzes Xiaozi lifestyles in context and demonstrates the cultural evolution with the historical visual development of this controversial culture. |
