| Abstract: |
This thesis focused on the new and evolving roles of the graphic designer. Electronic devices, the seemingly unstoppable trend of media convergence, and the changing rhetoric of communication have undoubtedly altered society at a fundamental level. This thesis explores the changing role of communication and the graphic designer, as well as the techniques, tools and rhetoric they must adopt to stave off obsolescence and eventual extinction. |
